meet the family

We spend nearly as much time with our co-workers as with our families—Good thing we like each other so much! Our team is a family in the best sense…rooting for each other's success, helping, caring, having fun, and sharing the company's goals of growing and making a difference.  Here are the key players who work with John and make it all happen.

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: My "gotta have it" item this season is our Sorority Gal cotton pearl bracelet in silver with the letter "A" (since I just got married and my new last name is Anderson!) Also, my classic go to favorite is our Milan chain two tone necklace twisted at the neck.

Enjoys: I am a mother of two, Madisen and Spencer, and love hanging out with them. I like to take long car trips where we get the chance to talk and catch up on everything. My husband, Ted, also has three children…and I’m thrilled at how my family is growing!

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: I have made a hobby out of renovating houses…in the past 8 years, I’ve renovated four homes and lived in two of them. I love how this hobby has given me hands-on projects to balance out my managerial day job.

John says: Robbin and I have worked together since practically day one—we've grown up together, been on an epic roller coaster ride, and I'm happy to say—are having more fun now than ever before!

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: The Silver "day to evening convertible necklace" or Ultimate Travel Necklace in silver. I put this necklace on during show Season and then couldn’t seem to take it off! It goes with everything and I love playing with all the different ways to wear it.

Enjoys: I love seeing live music and going to outdoor concerts in the summer. I love all kinds of music that I can groove to...I like to get up close to the band and dance and sing along…festivals and back yard parties are my favorite…if there is a band…you will find me in front of it.

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: I love to flea market, gathering and painting colorful lawn furniture. I have always been interested in a Mexican style and home accessories. In the summer I decorate my backyard with bright accents and pretend I’m on holiday. I love pottery, bright flowers and interesting wood, tin and iron furniture. It is fun to surround myself with a festive flair and create my little haven to come home to.

John says: Alicia and I are the road warriors of the company. One of my favorite rituals is meeting up with her at the hotel bar after a great trade show day to have a glass of wine and recap the day~Working together for over 15 years, Alicia is really like family—and people always ask if we’re related!

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: Our new silver gemstone earrings. I’m a busy mom and manager, so I need jewelry that goes from day to evening. I wear them with jeans at work, and keep them on when I change into a dress for an evening out.

Enjoys: In my free time I enjoy sports and spending time with my family. I was a soccer player and coach for many years and now enjoy watching my children play Soccer, LAX, Baseball and Football. I’m also a big Phillies and Eagles fan!

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: I have a love of traveling and scuba diving. I have dived in Jamaica, Florida and Antigua. So far, my favorite dive spot was in Ochos Rios, Jamaica. I loved the crisp, clear, blue water with reefs, shipwrecks and more.

John says: Laura constantly surprises me. First she was our bookkeeper, then transformed magically into the best production manager we’ve ever had. And now I read about her athletic endeavors—wow!

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: I’m into layers this season…layers on the wrist- like the equestrian link bracelet with a cuff, or layers on the neck- especially easy this season with the introduction of our Circa 1985 brand.

Enjoys: I’ve always had a passion for travel, but in the past 2 years I have found a lot of enjoyment in spending most of my time close to home. On the weekends I enjoy running around Philadelphia…there is always something interesting going on in our city!

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: After graduating from college, I taught English in Hungary for a year. I was in a completely different culture and didn’t know the language. I had to adapt quickly to traveling alone, communicating in basic Hungarian and being far away from my family. I still draw on my experiences from that year all of the time!

John says: Lauren is the ‘new kid on the block’ at Maximal Art, but we already can’t imagine life without her. How wild to be working side by side with professionals who were in kindergarten when I started the company! I love seeing things through their eyes…

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: I love our new enameled lockets- each color is as pretty and fun as the next! I wear an “E” for my baby girl, Emma. I also love anything Emerald!

Enjoys: Being the single mom of a young toddler, I don’t get a lot of free time! Aside from the time I spend playing with her, I love taking long walks, dancing, and getting out and exploring Philadelphia. I’ve lived here my whole life, but there is always something new to discover!

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: I love to cook! My grandmother was a baker, my aunt is a chef, and I have gotten the good cook genes passed down to me. At Christmas, we bake cookies and pastries for days and then have a huge 7 Fishes feast on Christmas Eve. If you’re hungry, come on over!

John Says: Danielle may be from up North, but she's a steel magnolia at heart. Whether it's making her way to work without a car (in a car kind of place), to raising her beautiful daughter Emma, to her new role as our office supervisor, she is clear, focused, and determined. And at the same time, modest, kind, and funny!

Gotta Have It Item of the Season: I love the enameling trend happening right now and am obsessed with our new enamel love knot collection! The gold mesh belt bracelet with white enameling is definitely my must have item for this Spring.

Enjoys: In my free time I enjoy making sculptures in my home woodworking studio. I love hanging out with my fiancé, Adam, and our adopted beagle, Clark. During hockey season you can catch us on the couch watching my favorite team, the Flyers!

What you wouldn’t know by looking at her: I have a degree in Glassblowing from Jacksonville University. I also received the Dean’s excellence award in both Glassblowing and Sculpture 2 years in a row. I was the first female to receive this award.

John says: Caitlin has a great combination of skills—she’s super organized, creative, and works well with others. She has a great work ethic.  Supervising the design studio is the perfect job for her!
