Fall Jewelry Trends | Gifts & Dec Magazine

Top Industry Magazine, Gifts & Decorative Accessories, asked John his thoughts on the top trends for this Fall.

Here are John's Top trends, and advice on how to wear:

  • THE ARM PARTY IS STILL GOING STRONG! STOCK UP ON LAYERING BRACELETS TO GIVE, MIX, AND MATCH!
"Color in general is still a really important component of style moving into fall, and our colorful new arm candy collection represents the evolution of the color blocking trend. We took care to offer a wide variety of colors in this group to achieve the trend."
    •  THE LOOK OF REAL—MIXING SEMI PRECIOUS WITH FASHION…AND A SMALLER SCALE IN GENERAL ARE BIG NEWS IN JEWELRY.
"The look is tranquil, calm, and understated... and we are mixing real stones with 'fashion' elements like fine electroplated chains and faux pearl. This more fine look is feels very fresh and more fashion forward than the chunky bibs of seasons past."
      • MODERN VINTAGE—VINTAGE INSPIRATION IS ALWAYS PART OF FASHION, IT ADDS A SENSE OF HISTORY AND SOUL TO ANY DESIGN.
"This trend is called 'Recast'... featuring darkly romantic themes, distressed finishes and symbols of protective talismans. This season I found my 'talismans' while flea marketing in London. Mixing these 'old' elements adds a sophisticated, well traveled edge to your look."

Stay tuned for more great style ideas for fall, and a preview of the fall collection coming soon!

About 12 years ago, my family bought me a broche with my "grandmother"name in the middle of a beautiful pin- vintage gold inside and pearl-like trim. It was lost several years ago and I would give my eye teeth to have it replaced. Do you ever do that type of vintage pin- the one you did when you had your place in LA? It is unreplaceable otherwise.
